UPDATED: DSP: Concord Road Reopens after Crash, Driver Cited

UPDATED – A crash and overturned dump truck early Tuesday morning turned part of Concord Road east of Seaford into a beach.  Delaware State Police tell WGMD that the dump truck was westbound on Concord Road, when the driver, a 59 year old Millsboro man, lost control.  The truck overturned and lost its load of sand.  Concord Road was closed for several hours while the sand was cleared.  The driver was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and cited for careless driving.


Concord Road – in the area of Pepper Road – east of Seaford has been reopened after a crash around 6:45 this morning.  Delaware State Police say the crash involved a dump truck that overturned and lost it’s load of sand on the roadway.
