DSP Investigating Early Sunday Morning Fatal Crash on Wil King Road in Lewes


A single vehicle crash Sunday morning just after midnight left a Lewes man dead. Delaware State Police say a pickup was southbound on Wil King Road when for reasons still under investigation the truck left the roadway, entered a ditch and overturned on its roof before hitting a tree. The driver – a 27 year old Lewes man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.
