Federalsburg Teen Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges

An 18-year-old from Federalsburg is in custody following a traffic stop and arrest last week. A Dorchester County Sheriff’s deputy arrested him  in Hurlock last Thursday night. Deputies say they smelled cannabis during the stop and found a loaded semi-automatic handgun on passenger Cavin Wilcox, along with about five ounces of cannabis packaged in multiple bags. Wilcox faces several gun and drug charges, including possession with intent to distribute, and is being held without bond.
