Felton Man Extradited, Faces Burglary and Theft Charges in Caroline County

A Felton man was extradited this week from the State of Delaware and served a total of seven active warrants through the Caroline County District and Circuit Courts. The warrants stemmed from a series of burglaries and thefts that occurred in the Fall of 2023. Todd Hockensmith faces numerous charges that include Burglary First, Second, and Fourth Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property, Rifle/Shotgun Possession by a disqualified person, among other offenses. Hockensmith was processed at the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office and presented before a County District Court Commissioner. He was held without bond and remitted to the custody of the Caroline County Detention Center.
