UPDATED: Fire Investigation at Dagsboro Paint & Wallpaper Continues

UPDATED 7/31/19 – State Fire Marshal inspectors are still looking into the cause and origin of Saturday’s fire at Dagsboro Paint and Wallpaper. Fire crews were called to the scene just after noon and found fire showing. Multiple fire companies assisted to battle the blaze – there were no injuries. Damage is estimated at $50,000.

Dagsboro fire crews were called to a fire on Main Street at the Dagsboro Paint & Wallpaper. The call came out at 12:17 and firefighters arriving at the scene found fire showing. Indian River crews at the scene say battling the blaze was sometimes difficult due to various layers of building construction through renovations.  Multiple fire crews assisted or provided cover.  Crews were on the scene for nearly three hours.  The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
