Georgetown Celebrates Arbor Day & Recognition as 2022 Tree City USA

Georgetown Mayor Bill West has signed a proclamation recognizing April 23 through 29 as Georgetown Arbor Week – and Friday, April 28th as Georgetown Arbor Day. Mayor West reminds everyone that tress are important to Georgetown – not only for beautification – but they enhance the downtown and yards – and increase property values.
Earlier this month the town received notification that it has been recognized as a 2022 Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.
