President Trump has been appointed Julianne Murray as the new US Attorney for the District of Delaware. That order was signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi – Murray is scheduled to be sworn-in on July 14th. She will take over the office held by David Weiss, who resigned in January.

Murray is a well-known figure in Delaware politics, having run for governor in 2020 and attorney general in 2022 as a Republican.聽 She also has served as chair of the Delaware Republican Party.

Newsmax reports that Murray’s appointment by the Trump administration might signal a shift in prosecutorial priorities.
