A Laurel man has been arrested in connection with an April 24th shooting investigation in Georgetown. US Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force arrested 44 year old Tyrone Fassett at the Burton Village Apartments in Rehoboth on Thursday and turned him over to Georgetown Police. Fassett is charged with 1st degree assault and weapons offenses after a shooting in the parking lot of the County Seat Apartments where a man was shot in the foot. Police determined that the Fassett was in his car when another man approached and began to assault him. Fassett got out of the vehicle, pulled a handgun and fired it – striking the victim in the foot. Fassett is being held in default of a $65,000 bond.
