Lifeguard Patrols Conclude For Season

Beaches are no longer protected by lifeguards in Ocean City.
The Ocean City Beach Patrol was on duty for the final time this season over the past weekend. Delaware beaches have also phased out their lifeguard patrols.
The OCBP advises residents and visitors that with lifeguards not on duty they should not participate in water-related activities.
The beach patrol will be back on duty Memorial Day weekend 2021.
