Lincoln Man Dead and 2 Injured in 3 Vehicle Morning Crash Near Georgetown
A three-vehicle crash just before 7:30 Friday morning left a Lincoln man dead and 2 others injured. Delaware State Police say that an eastbound Silverado driven by a 52 year old Lincoln man crossed the center line on Old Furnace Road west of Georgetown and sideswiped a Toyota Sienna and then collided head on with a Nissan Rogue.  The driver of the Silverado was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota – a 50 year old Georgetown woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Nissan – a 33 year old Seaford man was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries.
