MD Congressman coming to Eastern Shore for town hall

Maryland Congressman Andy Harris heading to the Eastern Shore this weekend. On Saturday he will be spending the bulk of his time on Smith Island.

In the morning Rep. Harris will visit two projects underway designed to aid navigation. One is the construction of two jetties, the other a dredging project.

Then in the afternoon the congressman will hold a town hall from 2-3 PM at the Smith Island Recreation Center. All residents in Maryland’s first district are invited to attend and ask questions about issues facing congress.
