Mother and son arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs into SCI

A mother and son have been arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into prison. Investigators at Sussex Correctional Institution say in December Angel Osborne of Hurlock, MD sent her son narcotics while he was incarcerated for unrelated charges. Prison staff learned of the scheme, intercepted the package. Angel Osborne was arrested by the Hurlock Police Department and extradited to Delaware. Both the mother and son have been charged with conspiracy and drug offenses and are in Department of Correction custody.
