Need A Passport? Seaford District Library Can Help

bill-o

If you have international travel plans and are in need of a passport or a renewal, you may want to travel to the Seaford District Library. The library has been accredited by the U.S. Department of State to accommodate passport applicants. Personnel recently went through a certification process.

“Our post office closes their offices early for passports, and so us offering these services can be helpful for working families, Seaford Library Deputy Executive Director Rachel Wackett said. “This is a great service to the community and we are mindful of children in school and working families whose hours don’t match up with the post office.”
The State Department website lists the required documents, and there are fees associated with the passport process.
Appointments can be made on the Seaford District Library website. Walk-ins can also be assisted.

According to the Seaford District Library:

Corey Christian is the main point of contact for the passport services, and anyone who has questions about passports can email him directly at corey.christian@lib.de.us Appointments are available through the online scheduling portal on the Seaford District Library’s website, https://seaforddistrictlibrary.org but walk ins are certainly also very welcome! If you need to obtain or renew a passport, it has never been easier in the Seaford area.
