Households that qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will no longer receive emergency food benefits after February 28th. A federal law passed in December ends those benefits. SNAP households have been receiving emergency food benefits on their EBT cards at the end of each month during the COVID-19 public health emergency. Starting in March, monthly Food Benefit amounts will return to normal.
