Roadwork on Route 1 closing lanes this weekend

Roadwork this weekend in Little Heaven will close northbound lanes on Route 1. DelDOT saying lane closures will begin tonight (Friday night) at 9 PM and last through 9 PM Saturday. Crews will be working on an overpass near Barratts Chapel Road. There will also be lane closures on Monday and Tuesday during the day. Although one lane will remain open to motorists at all times, anyone heading northbound between now and the 20^th should anticipate delays.
