The Sussex County Council meets Tuesday morning in Georgetown. During this week’s meeting County Administrator will read a proclamation for Home Ownership Month. Over the past several months Jim Martin and several other county residents have been commenting during the public comment portion of the meeting on the lack of affordable homes for county residents – and a possible change in the county code to allow tiny homes. County Finance Director Gina Jennings will announce the second quarter employee recognition awards and Director of Utility Planning, John Ashman will present the public hearing results for Sherwood Forest North. In old business the council will possibly discuss and vote on amending the county code regarding cluster subdivisions. The county council meets Tuesday at 10am in the County Administration Office on the Circle in Georgetown.
