It didn’t take a genius to figure out that not many folks went fishing on Saturday.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that Mark Maggs had a 8.44-pound Delaware Citation Tog from ocean structure on a green crab. On Saturday the Katydid brought in 16 tog from ocean structure. A private boat had one black drum from Delaware Bay on Saturday morning.

Eric Hertzog managed to land a 40-inch cow-nosed ray through the surf on Friday.

Old Inlet said tog were caught on sand fleas and green crabs while small rockfish were taken on white bucktails and leadheads with soft plastic tails.

Dan’s Tackle reported that Johnathon Davis caught a 7-pound trout.

Taevan Meekine had a keeper tog and a keeper rockfish out of Indian River Inlet.

The Lewes Tog Club had nine tog and one striped bass at the Outer Wall and the Ice Breakers before the rain.
