A traffic stop in Ellendale led to the arrest of a man on multiple outstanding warrants. Ellendale Police spotted the violation and followed the vehicle as it pulled into a driveway. The driver, 40 year old Rolando Rodriguez, initially gave police a false name – he had no driver’s license, registration or insurance and was positively identified using a portable fingerprint scanner. Rodriguez was found to be wanted in both Sussex and Kent Counties – and now faces additional traffic charges and criminal impersonation.
