Two Arrested in Harbeson Drug Investigation

A six month investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs ended with the arrest of two people at a home on Woodcrest Drive in Harbeson on Thursday.  Delaware State Police with help from SORT, the Sussex Drug Unit and Governors Task Force went into the home with a search and seizure warrant where they arrested 40 year old Tomaris White of Georgetown and 67 year old Gladys Sampson of Harbeson.  Police seized over 14 grams of crack cocaine, over 41 grams of powder cocaine and over 6 grams of marijuana, as well as ammunition, drug paraphernalia and over $2000 in suspected drug proceeds.  Both are charged with a variety of drug offenses.  Sampson, who is a convicted felon, is also charged with possession of ammo by a person prohibited.  Both are being held at SCI in default of bond.
