Two Graduation Ceremonies at Salisbury University Wednesday & Thursday

Salisbury University holds two graduation ceremonies this week. Both ceremonies – for the first time since the 1970s – will be held on the SU campus. On Wednesday is the Graduate Ceremony beginning at 6pm in the Maggs Arena. SU alumnus Aaron Deal, class of 93 and also the Maryland Teacher of the Year in 2003, is the commencement speaker. 205 students will receive their master’s and 2 will receive doctoral degrees – and hoods – as they transition from student to scholar.

Thursday the Undergraduates receive their diplomas at 9am at Sea Gull Stadium. Washington Commanders head coach and Salisbury alumnus Dan Quinn – class of 94 is the commencement speaker. There will be 999 diplomas handed out during the undergraduate ceremony.

Both graduation ceremonies will be live-streamed.
