Bridgeville Man Dies Of Injuries From Sunday Wreck

Update: The man who died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday on Route 13 at Route 404 has been identified as 55-year-old Earnest Lofland of Bridgeville.

A 55-year-old Bridgeville man has died of injuries suffered in a crash on Southbound Route 13 at the intersection with Seashore Highway.

Delaware State Police said the man was in the left turn lane stopped at a red light early Sunday morning, when another southbound vehicle collided with his car from behind. The car was pushed across the northbound lanes and came to rest on the northbound shoulder.

The driver of the car was hospitalized and died Monday. The other driver, a 33-year-old Georgetown man, was not injured.
