No advisories on Sunday, but not many folks were fishing.  Monday and Tuesday look good as far as the weather and then it’s back to high winds and seas.

Julie at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid was out and came back from ocean structure with 150 black sea bass.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Burt told us none of his boats sailed, but he did hear of a few flounder and tog caught out of the inlet.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said some of the beaches remain closed so surf fishing is not a good idea.  A few tog have been caught out of the inlet on sand fleas and green crab.

Further up the bay, Smith Bait in Leipsic reported keeper rockfish caught at Miah Maull Shoal on peeler crab and Mann’s Stretch plugs.  Big white perch have been caught out of the tidal creeks and rivers.  Parker Smith had a one pounder and Joseph Simpler had a 1-pound, 4-ounce perch on peeler crab out of the Simons River.

Dan’s Tackle Box reported one customer had three sheepshead on bay structure.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
