Tuesday saw good fishing weather and Wednesday looks good as well.  Things begin to go downhill on Thursday.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid had a boat limit of sea bass to Richard Thompson’s 3.6-pound citation winner.  Steve Kuhlman had a very nice 2.5 pounder as well.  Sergio Galvan and Fred Sicker fished the Outer Wall on Saturday to catch two keeper tog on green crabs and sand fleas.  They released many short tog.  Bill and Jules Mister also managed to collect two keeper tog from the Outer Wall on Saturday using the same baits.  The Portabella had a mixed bag of sea bass, flounder, blues and porgies over ocean structure on Saturday.

When I called Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly, he had just returned from a trip to ocean structure where he had a boat limit of sea bass plus blues and porgies.

Now that the ASMFC has found Virginia out of compliance on menhaden, Secretary of Commence Ross has 30 days to decide their fate.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
