WGMD Fishing Report 10-30-21

Saturday saw the storm warnings from Friday replaced by small craft warnings and these will continue all day Sunday.  Winds on Sunday will be southwest at 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 and seas of three to five feet.  On Monday the wind will go northwest at 15 to 20 then diminish to 10 to 15 late in the day.  Waves in the ocean will be three to four feet.  If this forecast holds it will be over one week of unfishable weather for the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean.

Tommy at Lewes Harbour Marina said none of the boats from there even tried to fish and no one answered the phone at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em.  No, I don’t think they were too busy cleaning fish.

I did get a report from Old Inlet Bait and Tackle.  Nothing unusual, just small tog out of the Inlet on sand fleas and green crab.

There was considerable overwash at the ocean and bay beaches on Friday, so expect some changes in the beach structure.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
