Monday saw clear skies and light winds with good fishing for sea bass and tog.

Captain Pete Haines on the Top Fin had a photo on Facebook of a double header of tog he caught.  He said fishing was good, but they still had more shorts than keepers.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina posted a photo of Bob Murphy with a 11.5-pound sheepshead he caught from the Grizzly while tog fishing.  The Katydid came in with a boat limit of sea bass from ocean structure.

The Morning Star out of Ocean City was able to limit out the boat with black sea bass on the first piece of ocean structure they anchored upon.

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle, the report was good tog fishing at the Inlet with shorts outnumbering keepers.  Keepers to 20 inches were caught on green crabs and sand fleas.

DNREC’s Division of Fish and Wildlife sank a retired cruse ship that had plied the Chesapeake Bay and coastal waters for more than 15 years.  The ship joined the 997 New York City subway cars at Reef Site 11.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
