WGMD Fishing Report 12-31-18

Baker Petroleum

Monday started off fairly decent, but then the weather went south with rain and wind, still a few boats ran for tog and sea bass.

Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly only had six tog for the day, but what they lacked in numbers they more than made up for in size.  Five of the tog weighed 14.25, 13.75, 12.75 and 9.75 pounds.

The Lewestown Lady out of Fisherman’s Wharf had a catch of tog, but they didn’t say how many.

The Double Ds from Indian River Marina ran to the deep for black sea bass and came back with a boat limit of big fish.

The Fish Bound out of Ocean City had a boat limit of tog to 18 pounds.  This boat will run for tog all winter and a few years ago caught the current all tackle world record.

This will be the last WGMD fishing report until April.  I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I have enjoyed doing these reports.  I wish all my listeners a Happy New Year and lots of big fish in 2019.
