WGMD Fishing Report 12-6-19
Thursday saw small craft advisories up for the bay and ocean and to the best of my knowledge no boats left the dock. Right now, the weather looks better for the weekend and I hope it holds so people can finally get out on the water.
With the holiday season right upon us you may be looking for gift ideas for the fisherman or woman in your life. When in doubt as to what to get, stop by your local tackle shop and ask. It does help if you know what type of fishing the person does. Gifts for someone who fishes off shore will be entirely different that for someone who fishes the local bass ponds.
The person in the local tackle shop has the knowledge to help you make the right selection. If you are thinking of a new reel, he or she can recommend the right product and fill the reel with the correct type and pound-rest line. They can also match the reel to the correct rod so you don’t end up with a spinning reel on a bait casting rod or vice versa.
