On the last day of tog fishing Capt. Doc Peoples of the Spectacle fished
with his buddies Harry Lewis, Kenny Vincent and Lex Robertson all of
Rehoboth, DE and caught these fish using sand fleas at site 10.

Wednesday was a gray day and not many folks went fishing.  There is also a special Tsunami warning for extra high tides due to the low pressure area and thunderstorms over the ocean.

At Lewes Harbour Marina Amanda wanted to remind everyone of the Joe Morris memorial Canal Flounder Tournament on Friday.  You can still sign up by paying your $40 entry before 7:00 AM Friday morning.  Tournament tee shirts are available now at the shop and there is a raffle for a beautiful new rod.

At Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em Burt said only one boat went out and they returned with a good catch of sea bass.  Some rockfish have been caught at night from the beach on plugs with a few big blues mixed in the catch.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle told us they saw a black drum caught out of the Broadkill River on a clam.  Blues and rockfish have been caught from the beach on bunker, mullet and spoons or plugs.  This is a slow pick at best.  Shad remain at the inlet on small spoons or shad darts during incoming water.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing report.
