Abby Meyer and Liv Meyer from Centre Hall, PA fished on the headboat Judy V. with Capt. Christopher Adams and caught a mixed bag of kingfish, spade fish and a weakfish while fishing along the beach at Fenwick.

Friday saw a hard northwest blow with small craft advisories up on the bay and ocean.  They are calling for 10 to 15 with gusts to 20 northwest on Saturday so the bay will be a bit choppy..

At Old Inlet Bait and Tackle they said the croaker bite was strong in the morning along the southside campground by the bath house with FishBite bloodworms the top bait.  Kings were caught out of the surf on the same bait or real bloodworms.  The nighttime bite of rockfish on incoming water is still good with eels, swim shads and sand fleas all producing.

Lighthouse View Tackle on the Fishing Pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said spot were caught on bloodworms and a few keeper flounder were caught on minnows.

Chris at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us the Gale Force with Captain Aaron Heard had a catch of flounder out of the Inlet.  On Thursday he caught eight flounder from the ocean and four out of the inlet.

Dan’s Tackle Box reported that seven-year-old Jason Blevins caught kings from the surf on FishBites.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing Report.
