This 6lb sheepshead was caught by Trevor Reitenbach of Tower City, PA while fishing with sand fleas on the south side of Indian River Inlet

This 15.6lb blue fish was caught by John Fisher of Baltimore, MD using ballyhoo out at the Hot Dog.

Sunday was hot, but the wind shifted to the north so the temperature dropped a bit.  The rest of the holiday week looks great so get out and do some fishing.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said Jack Henriksen fished with Ricky Mills at the Outer Wall where Jack caught a five-pound flounder on Gulp! and a squid strip.  The Grizzly had a good trip on Saturday returning with a box full of sea bass and ling from ocean structure.  The Big Herring had a 78 and a 28-pound bluefin tuna and released a 100-inch bluefin on inshore structure.

Lighthouse View Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said the spot bit again on Sunday and some flounder were also taken.  Trout are beginning to show up at night.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em told us flounder were caught out of the inlet and bluefin tuna were taken from Massey’s Canyon and the Hot Dog.

At Old Inlet we learned an 8-pound black drum was caught on a sand flea out of the inlet.  Blues to 20 inches were caught on high tide.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing Report.
