WGMD Fishing Report 7-15-19
Sunday saw nice fishing weather that is supposed to continue for the first part of the week.
Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said Josh Evans and Jack Donahue caught 21 and 22-inch flounder out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on bucktails. The Reel Chaotic fished B Buoy with squid and minnows catching six flounder and one sea bass. The Katydid had a good catch of sea bass, ling and triggerfish from ocean structure. Captain Beau Fiebelkom on the Skip Jack II and his grandfather David fished ocean structure to catch sea bass, flounder and ling on squid, clams and shiners. Nine-year-old Diesel Graulich was high hook on the Impulsivity catching sea bass to two pounds at the Del-Jersey-Land reef. The Tranquila had a catch of flounder at the Old Grounds.
Burt at Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said one boat ran 35 miles to find a good catch of sea bass. The Judy V had flounder to 24 inches. A few tuna came in from the inshore lumps.
Old Inlet told us it was kings on bloodworms from the surf.
