Wednesday was hot and it looks like that will be the story for the next few days.

Had an interesting report from the National Marine Fisheries Service.  A tag planted in a striped bass back in October 13 of 1994 was recovered this July 3rd.  When the fish was tagged it was classified as being from the 1989 year class.  It had been at large for 26 years and was 30 years old.  The striper was first tagged south of Block Island and recaptured in Nantucket Sound.  Both captures were by hook and line.

Jason on Saltfish reported fishing structure out of Lewes and catching spot, trout and blues on FishBites and Gulp! during the top of the outgoing water.  Another Saltfish report from the Radford was several big sea bass and some ling on salted clam.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina said the Katydid found a boat limit of flounder plus six sea bass over ocean structure on Tuesday.

Gale Force had ten flounder to 21.5 inches out of Indian River Inlet.

This is Eric Burnley with your WGMD fishing Report.
