The 46th White Marlin Open is in the books and for the first time in its long ling history they have a two-time winner.  Tommy Hinkle fishing on the Fish Whistle brought in a 79.5-pound white marlin on Thursday and it held up to take the 1.5 million first prize.  Mr. Hinkle and the Fish Whistle also won the top, prize in 2008.  In second place was the Chasin’ Tail with a 74-pound white caught by Nathen Walker and worth $135,000.  Third place went to Backlash with their 73-pounder taken by Michael Wagner that paid out 1.5 million dollars.  The reason third paid out more then second is because Backlash was entered in more categories than Chasin’ Tail.  Haullin’ N Ballin’ weighed in the only qualifying blue marlin caught by Craig Dickerson and weighing 465.5 pounds.  That fish was worth $900,000.
