Butch Emmert, John Kelleher, Will Emmert, Ellie Wakefield, John Wakefield and Ellie Lord, all from Rehoboth Beach, DE fished the Indian River Inlet using live spot and caught a boat load of flounder. The largest weighed in at 3.4lbs.
Nick Ferrara of Middletown, DE fished from a fishing outfitted jet ski off of Fenwick Island Beach and caught this 34.4lb cobia using a bucktail.

Sunday was another good fishing day and people did catch fish.

In the Upper Delaware Bay trout to 25 inches were caught on peeler crab from Bowers Beach according to Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic. Steve also said croaker are taking peeler crab from the pier at Woodland Beach.

Speaking of fishing piers, Dave from Lighthouse View Tackle was kind enough to take me out on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park on Friday afternoon in his golf cart.  At the time, no one was catching anything, but everyone was waiting for flood tide and evening time for the spot to start.  Once they do, it is two at a time on bloodworms.

Teresa Spence used small bunker on a bucktail to catch two 18-inch flounder out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal on Saturday.  Steve Warren used live spot fished from the jetty at Roosevelt Inlet to catch three keeper flounder on Saturday according to Dan’s Tackle Box.

The Gale Force with Captain Aaron Herd had 13 keeper flounder on Saturday morning.
