Burt Campbell of Dagsboro, DE wanted to show off his new boat and break it in right by catching a limit of flounder in the Indian River Inlet.
Ben Jacobs, mate from the Gale Force Charters and Evan Trakas, mate from the Judy V. teamed up to use their skills to catch a cobia on their days off. They fished out a Fenwick Shoal using live eels to catch this 30lber.

Thursday saw a refreshing north wind and fish were caught.

My friend Bob Baker called to report another successful trip to Wachapreague, Virginia.  He and two friends fished the incoming tide to capture a three-man flounder limit with fish to 19 inches.  All were caught on Bob Baker Flounder Rigs.

Speaking of flounder, the Flounder Pounder Tournament is ongoing out of Paradise Cove in Long Neck.  Nino Aversa won the $5,000 daily Calcutta on Wednesday and leads the contest with his 8.6-pound flounder.  As of 5:00 PM on Thursday my good friend Cary Evans on Team Grizzly had won the third place Calcutta on Wednesday and was in Third Place on the overall leaderboard with a 6.2-pounder.  His angler was David Tribbit.  Local brothers Cory and Kyle Falgowski were in fifth place.  Cory was listed as the captain and Kyle was the angler for their 6-pound flounder.

Captain Aaron Heard on the Gale Force caught ten flounder out of Indian River Inlet on live spot for his party.
