Sunday was another good weather day and lots of folks were on the water.

Amanda at Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Baker brothers on their boat Sea Tiger brought in three swordfish weighing between 100 and 150 pounds on Saturday.  Steve Bishoff caught a 1.11-pound pompano on a FishBite sand flea from the Cape Henlopen State Park surf.  Captain Cary Evans on the Grizzly had a boat limit of sea bass plus some ling and dolphin for his party on Saturday.  The Thelma Dale IV caught a good number of sea bass during the all-day trip also on Saturday.

Dan’s Tackle Box told us the Delaware Bay reef sites continue to produce spot, kings and triggerfish plus the occasional flounder. The best fishing at these sites has been on incoming water. Bloodworms, FishBite bloodworms, squid and minnows have all caught fish here.

Rick’s Bait and Tackle told us flounder fishing in Indian River Bay continues to improve. Squid and minnows or Gulp! on a jighead have been the top baits.

Old Inlet said king mackerel were caught at the inlet on Sunday.
