County Executive Giordano called the allegations completely false, saying they are not based on facts or supported by any evidence but are instead a deliberate attempt to damage her both politically and personally. She added that the letters are part of a broader fabricated narrative tied to years-old rumors about alleged photos that, she said, have never surfaced because they simply do not exist.

In the press conference she referred to the allegations as a desperate attempt to defame her adding that she is less bothered about defending herself again and more disturbed about what she called reckless reporting and its impact on innocent people.
