Ellendale firefighters were called for a residential fire around 4:30 Saturday afternoon on Spicer Road. Crews arriving at the scene found fire showing from the home with heavy fire on the second floor and attic. Crews from several area companies assisted or provided backup. There were no injuries and the State Fire Marshal is investigating.
